    Affordable Watch Winder Suggestions??

I know that some will suggest that this is not the place for a watch collector to go cheap as it can hurt the watch in the long run, however, for a new comer that doesn't have $8k-$10k priced watch in his collection, a 2-3 watch winder in the range of $100-$150 will suffice for my Tag and other less expensive automatic watches. I just want to be able to put them in a winder since I use the watch about 2-3 times a week but at times, the watch stops and needs to be adjusted again. (Yes, I am that lazy that I'd rather have a winder).

Can anyone recommend or suggest a cheap 2-3 watch winder for around $100-$150?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Ive also been looking for a single winder, priced around the $100 mark if anyone has any suggestions. If it had integrated watch storage for 3 or so watches id be prepared to spend a bit more up to the $250ish mark

If you do a thread search you will find quite a few previous threads covering this topic!! Good luck there were plenty of good deals during the holidays. I got a couple of cheap ones on Amazon.

I searched with not much success. I did read that all winders are all the same and to just get a cheap ebay one but I do not really believe that or want to go that route. I want a cheap winder but also a reliable one.

check out shopnbc. i bought a swi 3 slot watchwinder from them and it works great. you can set it to wind in one direction only or have it rotate in one direction, stop for a few hours then rotates in the other direction. i haven't had any problems with it and it looks great, it is all wood with cloth material inside.

i think i paid somewhere between 250-300 U.S. dollars and i bought it at a time when they offered low priced shipping because of their anniversary or holiday specials. i believe my shipping cost was 1.99 and when i got it, it was a big heavy box that would have cost at least 20 dollars to ship.

i would not hesitate to buy another one, check them out.

My advice is to set, wind and wear your watches as needed.
Do you leave your car running 24/7?
    Think about it.

My tag is on my wrist 5 days a week, the weekends i never wear a watch, with the carrera only having a 42 hour reserve it will run out on me.

As for leaving your car on 24 hours a day, does your battery last less than two days with the clock running?
