After a 15 years relentless old hunt, finally I got my Constellation Dome

    Good afternoon everyone

After a relentless 15 years old search I finally got what missed so much to my Omega collection, a Constellation Dome with cal 352 and this one is the ref 2652-1. I won the auction following my strategy to bid in the last 9 seconds before the end of the auction and it worked finally today because the 15 previous times if not more over the years I have been outbid 1 or 2 seconds before the bidding ended. In relatively good shape , it will go to service and will get a new bracelet. Pics from the seller , will post mine when I receive it.

    Best regards

    Georges

Small correction, it is not a pie pan but a dome model which was the predecessor of the pie pan

    Congrats Georges!!!

You will only win the auction at snipping with 9 seconds left if your bid amount is MORE than the current high bidder. If your bid amount is LESS than the current high bidder, of course you will walk away empty handed....

I can’t imagine how you feel after so long hunting for a particular piece!

    Congratulations! It’s a lovely piece

Yes but bad news , I have to cancel the transaction I made and asked the seller for a refund ,serial number makes it too early for a Constellation

Good luck with the cancellation. The serial number is pretty clear on the movement. Just something you forgot to check before bidding?
I was curious about the fit of the bezel ring against the dial markers. Looks really tight, but I confess I'm no Connie expert. Just an admirer. Hope you find the right one soon.

Congratulations on finding a long time grail
