Age Old Question: Steinhart vs Certina DS Action Diver

Yes I know this has been talked about before and yes I've looked and researched both watches at extreme, extreme detail but I just cannot figure out which one I want more... I've asked lots and lots of questions about the two watches on these forums and you guys have been more than helpful but I can't seem to choose between the two.

I'm not saying I want someone else to choose for because I'm incompetent but just need a reason or something to give the slight edge over the other...

i know absolutely everything about the watches from my research and understand the build quality and specs as well as brand pedigree, etc. still can't choose...

I'm only 19 and in college so this is a somewhat big purchase for me, hence the the aspiration to get the very best watch for me.

Honestly, even something stupid could probably sway me to choose one over the other at this point. Ex. "You'll get more girls with the Certina" "More people will notice the Steinhart" "The Certina looks better in the light" "The Steinhart smells better" "The Certina's more age appropriate"

    I really don't know.

Also, please don't comment if you're just gonna bash the Steinhart for being a "knock off" I understand that the fact that it's a homage IS a downside but I don't feel too strongly about that to be honest.

Funnily enough, the overall vibe I get from Certina compared to Steinhart is that the Certina probably IS more age appropriate.

I looked at certina as well, but it had a bit too much writing on the dial, so I went with the steinhart. That isn't to say I won't buy a Certina at some point, but im very happy with my ocean 1.

Make it hurt so bad, 'cause it feels so good when you stop.
