Alpha & Omega: show us the extreme ends (price-wise) of your collection

As the title suggests, post your cheapest and most expensive watches and let us know why they have a place in your collection.
Prize for anyone who actually posts an Alpha and an Omega (disclaimer: prize may be rubbish/imaginary).

I'll go first as no-one else had seen this thread yet.

    Cheapest:
Casio WV57H - bought for a few quid from a charity shop but probably would have been the cheapest even if I'd bought it new. It's a great beater with spot on atomic accuracy and a nice big display.

    Most expensive:
Rolex Explorer I - a long time grail which I found myself able to afford recently. It really is the perfect watch IMO with a rugged, classic style that has stood the test of time but which is also dressy enough for smarter occasions. It's also the perfect size for my skinny wrists.

    What do I win??

My Alpha I picked up for going to Capitals games (and not having to worry about getting mugged on the metro), with my Caps jersey:

And my Omega's (don't have a shot of all three yet, sent the PO away for warranty work when I got the Great White):

Cheapest modern watch I owned this year - $35:

Sold it, a couple inexpensive Bulovas, and a vintage Tissot Seastar that went for $110, but I do have a bunch of vintage Bulovas that were under $120 each. The least expensive modern watch I currently own is the Seiko OM:

The most expensive vintage watch I ever purchased is this Omega Seamaster 18K caliber 321 - slightly more than $35:

The most expensive modern watch I own is the VC Malte Grande Classique - also slightly more than $35:

V76! Do you own a Georg Jensen watch yet?

You living in Denmark should have one in your collection!

Cool idea and a good thread title. I have nothing else to contribute- I am still trying to figure out the camera I got for Christmas.
