    Anglage finish

Who else like me thinks this Anglage finish is watch .....
Hi quality movements with exposed case back will probably have it. Ive polished like that before and its very time consuming.
Just thought I'd throw it out there.

    Re: Anglage finish

Just in case someone is wondering anglage is the beveling and then polishing of all the edges that would otherwise be at a 90* angle. When well done all the chamfers will be of the same width and angle and highly polished. At a glance it is one of the least visible of the hallmark watch finishes but from a time and difficulty level it is near the pinnacle of haute horology.

I think he means he finds it very attractive and an indication of a highly finished movement. That's just my interpretation.

I really love it on everything. Don't like rounded screws, but 45° beveled screws are pretty awesome.

Looks like a good bit of time was spent by someone when it came to finishing it out.
