Off Topic post Answer this "what if" 2 part question.

    1) What are your 5 favorite (attainable) watch brands? 2) Imagine those 5 brands didn't exist. What would then be your 3 or 5 realistic watch collection?

my top 5 fav attainable brands: Seiko (including GS and Credor), IWC, JLC Omega, Rolex.

    followup 3/5 watch collection:

    1) Glashutte Original Panomatic Lunar (saw one for $5K on used market)
    2) 1960s Citizen Chronomaster (replaces my vintage GS)
    3) Habring2 Jump Second Pilot

    4) Oris Divers Sixty Five (non rolex and tudor diver. not a Tudor snowflake hand fan)
    5)
Universal Genève Polerouter (black dial with date)

Is there a bot that plants some variation of "your favorite [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12...] watch collection" thread every other day here?

what are you the thread post border patrol? chill with the sarcasm. new here and new to watch conversations in general since not many people i know own watches. (I accidently posted my first post twice) just a little excited. you're a veteran here for 10 years, gold star for effort and maybe knowledge, but your attitude sucks. if you cant contribute to a thread, you can write nothing. amazing. find some patience for others, and if you got none then maybe you shouldn't participate in a public forum on the internet.

Re: Answer this "what if" 2 part question.

My five favourites are Rolex, GO, Lange, Hamilton and Zenith.

My collection without these might be a Radiomir 1940, MUT Moon, BPFF, Ball Engineer II and Speedy.

But more realistically, probably a Longines HC, SOH, Speedy, Montblanc slim dress watch and the Ball Engineer II.

Are you seriously taking umbrage at my reference that this topic has been done to death? Really?

What an interesting game of a question.

Hmm. I’ll have to think about whether I have as many as five brands I’d consider “favorite” first.
