Can't help you on the model ID but I had a Gubelin back in the day and they do have some collector value. Nice find.

if you're just looking for a strap, measure the distance between the lugs.

When you buy a new strap, just make sure they send you spring bars for it.

Just buy any strap you want and that fits the watch. There’s no point to have “original” strap. Most likely it will be overpriced ordinary strap from Hirsch, Morellato or similar manufacturer.

Nice looking dress watch. Your only source for model number and replacement strap will be Gubelin in Lucerne. If you haven't please contact them through:
    https://www.gubelin.com/cms/en/the-house/history/

Here is an older thread with additional information on the high end jewelry company.

I see your point but as my principle is to maintain and rebuild any watch in my collection to original even if that means I will have to pay more than its current value.

Glad to help. Let us know if Gubelin could get you the model information and strap or not.
