Anybody want to get a Beer in Baltimore?

Hey guys,

Not sure how to go about this, but I wanted to see if my fellow WUS members around the Baltimore/DC/NOVA and surrounding areas are interested in a get together. Nothing formal, maybe a Saturday afternoon/evening gathering at a local watering hole to meet in person and share watches and stories.

MOds, please let me know if this is the wrong way to go about this, I didn't see anything in the rules so I thought it would be OK.

If you are interested, please respond and let us know. Give an idea of general area and what times/days work best for you. I'll compile everything and see if we can set something up.

For me, Id prefer somewhere in Baltimore or between Baltimore and DC, weeknights and weekends work best for me.

Let's see if we can get something together here!

And to anyone out of the area, you're more than welcome to join in if you will be in the area- just let us know!

I think there was a gathering a couple of months ago hosted by frogman at Pazo's in Baltimore. I missed that one so I'd be interested in a beer or two with some fellow WIS's. I live outside of DC but work in Baltimore so I'm pretty open.

Cool... sounds like we are getting some momentum here!

So date and place... I'm thinking a Saturday afternoon/evening would be good. What do you guys think of Saturday Jan 29th from 2-5 PM?

Here are a couple of locations I can think might be cool. But please suggest anything else....

1. Ellicott Mills Brewery in Ellicott City- Great food and beer (and a full bar). Lot's of well lighted space upstairs and Ellicott City has a number of antique places so there may be a hidden gem of vintage watch there (though I've not found any yet). And they win for the award for using almost every feature you can on their website....Ellicott Mills Brewing Company
2. 4 Seasons Grille in Gambrills MD. (or another restaurant/bar???) 4 Seasons Grille in Gambrills sounds good to me. I'm very familiar with Little Treasury as I have made many purchases from there. The owner, Steve, is a great guy and it wood be a good place to check out some timepieces. Of course, as I said initially, I'm open to most locations.
