Anyone know what’s going on with Milus?

Earlier tonight, I found myself sitting at the intersection of “Bored To Death” and “Dear Lord TV Sucks”. On a whim, I decided to turn left and head over to the Milus website.

The place has changed. In fact, I barely recognized it. Gone are the intricate complications, the historical landmarks and the upscale appeal. It looks like they brought in a demo team, razed everything and started rebuilding from the ground up.

They offer just three models now, all of which are preorder. All under $2k.

Anyone know if they were sold and relaunched...or if they’re simply rebooting under new management? Perhaps they’re just overhauling of their own accord? I looked around but haven’t been able to find any info on it.

These are the three current models. They reworked the Snow Star, brought back the Archimedes and created the new Lab 01.

They do tend to fly under the radar for most, ever WIS's.

Never heard of them which may be why they've done such an apparent drastic reboot.

Re: Anyone know what’s going on with Milus?

I appreciate the replies so far. Apparently they’re not very well known these days. I guess I’m not surprised. Looking back at some of their more recent models, I’m realizing most of their stuff was leaning toward the gaudy side of the spectrum. They started doing a lot of skeletonized and extremely busy dials. It was their vintage models that originally turned me on to the brand, and a few years ago I fell in love with the re-release of the Snow Star.

Here’s a pic of the Snow Star in gold. It’s the watch that from time to time draws me back to the brand. Guess I was just a bit shocked to see that it’s no longer the brand I remember.
