    Anyone recognize this watch?

This watch was seen on The Blacklist, S1:Ep 20. Anyone recognize the brand? It appears to have three letters ending in "S". The round marker at 9 is raised. Very unusual.

I'm guessing its made for the show because if you look at the 9 oclock marker its not stilling on the dial correctly, so its just a cheap random Sub homage

:) this is what's known as a "homage" or more precisely a knock-off copy of Rolex Sub. 9 oclock marker is not raised, but is rather the 5 o'clock index marker that has come unglued and is floating around. Also, the dial indicates 3 ATM water resistance, on what is supposed to be a diver watch...

As far as "homages" go it's a particularly bad one. In other words it's junk.

Oh, you're right. Odd that they would put that on a TV show. I like the look of it and was wanting to check it out. :)

You won't have to look very hard to find another sub homage if you like the looks. The list is endless of those in the sub homage game.

If you like the look of it - Rolex Submariner is the original and something to consider.

A far as TV shows and movies - it's pretty common to use fakes, props, etc (see movie Drive or Non-Stop for some fake Patek Philippe).
The exceptions are when actors\directors use own watches (as in Rolex in Sean Connery's James Bond, or when a brand gives a real watch along with a marketing fee to promote itself in the movie (as in Omega and recent James Bond films)

They probably couldn't get a watch brand to buy an ad placement, so they bought the cheapest thrift shop watch they could in order to avoid giving away free advertising to a "real brand?"

-- Seconded that it's a Rolex Submariner homage/clone. There are plenty of alternatives out there. I'd start with the Invicta 8926OB and work my way up the market from there if that appeals to you.
