Great price for German made CuSn8 bronze case, Swiss mov't, and sapphire. Just wish it was a tad bit bigger and with a 22mm strap, but at that price I may have to try it out.

I like the look. FWIW, I once had an Archimede Deckwatch, 42mm, and found that it wears larger than its dimension. Might or might not be the case with this one.

These are very attractive. They are something different than the plethora of divers currently offered in bronze as well...

I like Archimedes, and I don't think you could go wrong with a single watch in their lineup. This one looks great! It's generally the case with pilot watches that they wear larger than they actually are because of big face-slim bezel, as dbakiva pointed out, so if the size is just a tad smaller than what you wanted I don't think you'll notice much of a difference, if any at all.

Good to see the project (started in March 2012, see threads on our GWF) came to a good end. Kudos to Mr. Ickler.
    Kind regards

I can't decide if I like that or not. I like bronze watches. I own one. But I don't think it looks 'right' on a pilot like it does on a diver.

I like this one. Good to see a pilot style watch done in bronze.

That's really nice and will only look better with patina.
