    Cool Arrived! (Now with pics)

Or, as I like to call it, the new watch guessing game. I did this with my car forum buddies when I bought a new car, it drove them nuts. Hopefully I get the same response.

I don't technically have the watch yet. I left for work at 11:28, according to the USPS website, it delivered at 11:31. I won't get home tonight until around 9, so you've got about 5 hours before I can get home, take, and post pictures. So, what did I get?

The Seiko "Spork" also known as the "Sinn-Ko" for it's near dead on similarity to the original Sinn variant. How close am I?

Damn it. I was hoping it would be some sort of 20 Questions type of game, but you got it.

Pretty close, anyway. SRP043K2, on rubber. Depending on the quality of the strap, it'll get NATO'd or a Bradystrap Sailcloth sooner or later.

Haha! No use. If you remember, I got that right even before you asked this!

The rubber strap is excellent, very nicely made, with the seiko wave logo on the end of it. However, I don't wear it often, I use mostly Natos or Zulus (the Rhino straps from timefactors, they fit the watch rather nicely).

Congratulations! Now I can't wait to hear about your first experiences with the lume ;)

Spork is a terrible name. Sinn-Ko is a little better. I move we give this awesome Seiko a better name. Like, Saito, a daimyo of ancient Japan, called the Serpent of Mino, who dramatically rose and fell from power when killed by his son.

I rather like spork. It's cheerfully self-deprecating. Also, being a diver with a pilot's dial, it's only logical to call it spork, which is also a crossover of two great things. And it's nearly an anagram of the model number. I think this name will stick.
