I'm looking for an Automatic Chronograph under 1k and possibly under 700$, if it's a big brand or Swiss it's a big plus. I don't want a Meca-Quarz as I know that they are most popular in that price range

Look at the grey market for options from Victorinox swiss army, Alpina, Revue Thommen, Glycine etc. Tissot and Hamilton have a few options in that price range as well.
Shouldnt be too hard to find, just have to narrow down preferences in terms of case size, style, strap/bracelet and dial layout/colors. In this price range you will invariably find the 7750 movement which is quite good and reliable and should serve you well
As stated above, a lot depends on the stye of watch you're looking for. You should have lots of options with your price range. For example here's a Tissot that's under $700 grey market:
Alpina Alpiner AL-750. Stellar looks, build, timekeeping and insanely affordable!

...oh, and it’s not a sundial/boat-anchor so it’s nicely fashion proof

Just checked it out and it looks beautiful with that vintage-ish style

Steinhart has a wide offer of mechaical chronos, all within your budget.
Like Kilovolt I’d be looking to Steinhart as they make some lovely chronos.
