    automatic suggestions

hi everyone! after reading hundreds of posts on watchuseek, i decided on getting myself a tissot prc 200.

but after much thought, i realised id rather get myself an automatic instead of a quartz movement. im looking for an everyday bracelet watch that does not cost more than US$900 which preferably has a power reserve and a chronograph.

it'll be very helpful if u guys can suggest some models for me. pics and any info on the watch will be a bonus. thanks guys!!

An automatic chrono with PR and under 900, your're gonna have to look towards China.

hey mate, it doesn't have to be a chrono with a PR; that's just a bonus. as long as it's an automatic watch for daily use, id be interested. any ideas? :thanks

Hamilton would be a good place to start looking.

With $900, you should expect to just be able to get -either- a chrono or power reserve piece if you can get a discount. Check out the Tissot Le Locle and the Hamilton Jazzmaster collections: www.tissot.ch and www.hamiltonwatch.com

I don´t know of any chronograph with swiss movements (Valjoux 7750 or Lemania 5100) with a power reserve indication for under 900. Had to be chinese then.

An automatic watch for daily use does not need a power reserve indication. If used daily it will always run. Imho a power reserve only makes sense for a handwind movement.
Nevertheless Orient has some nice watches with pr fur under 300 bucks. Hamilton is another source to think about (Jazzmaster model).
