Back from Hawaii with a new toy!

I managed to score a Bathy's automatic UV in Kauai last week. I was originally looking for a quartz, but this was the last UV for a while, so I took it. I wore it into a Rolex dealer in Honolulu and the store manager loved it, said he had to have one and showed it to all the staff. I tried to trade it even for a 18K WG Daytona, but no go.
    Thanks for looking,

    Doug

How good is that! Not only a trip to Hawaii, one of the nicest places I've ever visited, but you picked up a Bathys while there.

    Maybe there is a heaven....

Did not get to meet John, but in the same town. Kauai is certainly a beautiful island. When I went through customs on the way home the officer took a close look at the Bathys as he had never seen one before. Good thing I declared it!!
