    Bad karma watch

One watch from my collection constantly brings me bad luck. When I wear it some small sh*t happen: new washing machine leaked, unpredictable problems at work, etc. Nothing dramatic but still annoying.

The watch bought new in AD so there’s no shadow of a previous owner.

    Am I nuts or what?

Yes, but on the remote chance it’s cursed, I’d sell it.

It's funny you mention this. I am generally not superstitious, but by chance I had a string of bad days over the past few weeks and it so happened I was consisently wearing a particular watch on those days. Coincidently, both my washer and dryer also broke last week... I know it has nothing to do with the watch, but my mind went there a couple times in its vein search to rationalize the off days 🙂

The problem is that I love this little scoundrel. It’s classic, beautiful and comfortable. Is there some karma- removing service?

    Here it is

Given your avatar, it's interesting you were the first person to respond after Alex asked if he was nuts.

    I know he's a legume but close enough....lol!

With that beauty I'd first change out to a strap to rule out a potential "bad vibes" bracelet.

    Have you tried de-magnetizing it?

Why should I? The watch is accurate.

I've had several bad experiences wearing my Speedy despite wearing it less than other watches I own. Coincidence or voodoo?

I'm not superstitious, I just don't take chances.

    Sell the watch.

Have you tried submerging it in less than 50m of holy water?
