Bailey Banks and Biddle Going Out of Business

Just an FYI. (If this has not already been covered) Bailey Banks and Biddle is going out of business and has all watches at 40-60% off. My wife picked up a nice Baume Mercier at 60% off this weekend. We were at the Annapolis Maryland location and they still had a pretty good selection of Baume's, TAGs and Mont Blancs in stock. Some of these you can usually score pretty well discounted online, however if you are in the area it may be worth a look.

I think you are right, +15%. Anyway, if you find what you like it is a good deal...

Yep, they are doing same thing at the one near here in Pleasanton, CA. When I stopped by 2 weeks ago, they were already cleaned out of most of their good watches, with only some Tags and a few other unattractive offerings from misc brands. Too bad I didn't know about the sale earlier. I used to always go in there to check out the Omegas, but of course those were all gone once this sale started.

OP thanks for the heads up. This has already been covered. Thats great to know that there are still good deals to be had. In most cases, if you are not walking into the store, they will only accept American Express. There was another long thread a while ago covering the details. I would be shocked if they had any popular OMEGAS left. I just called the Columbia, MD location and he said he had an AT and a Railmaster available at the store closing price. Which was 20% off in this case. Happy hunting!

BBB Store Closing - Is there a method to the madness?

Ok, I know this topic has been beaten to death. But I found it interesting that some stores are offering 50% off. Where other stores are offering 20% off. Is there a method to this madness? Obviously some stores are further along then others. But for the stores that are offering 20% today. I wonder when / if that same store will go to 50%? Thoughts from anyone who has purchased there recently welcome. Thanks

I think they are offering less discount in stores that are doing better. Here in the Austin store for example, the maximum discount for watches is not better than any discount you'd get from other ADs.

It's sad to see them closing though. I like the store.
