    Baume & Mercier

I don't know if this qualifies as "high end", but this is as close as I can get these days! Recently acquired Hampton City on Greg Stevens Strap!

Which strap looks the best? You decide...

That one is not high end, my wife has one, got it as a spiff during their 'Sell a City, win a City', promotion.

Damn, that watch must not be Swiss. It must be it's American cousin! Doesn't it bump into the back of your hand at times?

It depends on who you ask if B&M is considered high end. There are some who don't consider Omega and IWC high end. And then there are some who consider Hamilton high end.

Don't want to debate definitions today but I like the watch. Not style we see often here. I personally think it looks much better with the gator, it's a dressy lil bugger and needs a dressy strap.

At the time it was their "answer" to the Cartier - Tank Divan.

Why would you make an answer to something the Cartier people put on wrong by 90 degrees . . .

I think if the strap was wider or the lugs smaller it might look better. It's not a bad looking watch in general, just very not my cup of tea.
