Baume&Mercier classima 8868? Or any other suggestions?

Here is a jomashop link for reference:

Baume and Mercier Classima Executives Silver Guilloche Mens Watch 8868

Firstly, does anyone know of any reliable place to find this watch? As, it appears that it has been somewhat recently taken
out of production and now I can't really find it at my local AD.

Secondly, does anyone know of a similar watch in this pricerange? Dress/Casual watch with a plain face, 40-42mm diameter, exhibition back.
Oddly enough, it's difficult to find a watch with just those few restrictions placed on the exact type.

    Thank you so much!

I love the Classima from Baume and Mercier. Elegant, well made and classy. Look's like you found a reliable place to purchase the watch and save money. I'd also suggest you check Amazon.com (Amazon watches, not one of their partners). Amazon has a no question asked return policy and for warranty service, while you won't get the AD warranty with either Joma or Amazon, Amazons warranty is very good.

An alternative you might want to consider is the Frederique Constant FC-710. I have and love this watch. In-house movement and it's just a very classy and elegant watch all around. If you buy form and AD, it retails for $2250. It too can be found for less at Joma or Amazon. Though you might want to call Arizona Fine Time as they are an AD and you can get a better than MSRP price. They might even come close to the Joma price and since it's an in-house movement, it might buy you some insurance to have the AD warranty.

I agree with RBRylawski, with the FC-710 you get an in-house movement, and imo a better looking watch.

Classima is very nice, I have tried one on and fit/ finish is excellent. If you cant find one then FC 710 is a great recommendation as based on the comments above

Those are two terrific choices. I prefer the looks of the Frederique Constant. The B&M is a bit more versatile, but when you are looking at something this dressy to begin with, who needs more versatile? Neither of these are daily wearers anyway, so I would go for the FC.

I think the Classima looks very nice, but I love the Frederique Constant FC-710. Go see one in person -- it's a thing of beauty.

You included a link to one in your post. Jomashop isn't perfect by any measure, but they're a reliable place to buy a watch.

The B&M is a great watch, very classic looking. Wish mine was a bit smaller otherwise I would of kept it
