    Best Bang for Buck?

I read about this online today - saw and tried one on at local jeweller - think I prefer bracelet version & maybe even the no date black version (neither in stock at my AD). Its UK retail is £450 ish & can get it for about £350 - haven't jumped yet cos my heart is elsewhere and saving up at the mo - but it sure strikes me this is the best bang for Buck I've seen in a long while

What watch represents Best Bang for Buck for you?

Casio F91W-1. For the price of a sandwich you get a grand complication. That's right! For one crisp Hamilton, you get:

    1. An alarm
    2. Striking hours
    3. A chronograph
    4. The date and day of the week

I actually had to google that ref to see if it was true - and it is - I never knew a Casio could be so cheap - extraordinary

Assuming you get it at RRP and the values backwards yes you’re right,

    Re: Best Bang for Buck?

For a while now my stock answer has been a three-hand Casio Oceanus. At around $500 it doesn't qualify for F71, but given the price point, finish, specs, and functionality I think it's the best pound-for-pound GADA available. Qualifiers being you have to be OK with titanium (which I view as a bonus), quartz, the integrated bracelet, and the fact that it skews sportier than say a SARB033 or an archetypal Datejust.

Seiko Spring Drive was my wedding watch, Rolex Datejust was my anniversary watch, but I call Oris home.
