I'd vote Maurice Lacroix, post re-invention. Their previous designs in the Breguet style were hideous IMO but I just don't really go for that look I guess. What baffles me if WHY they don't have an in-house 3 hand movement. They have made totally unique in-house movements with every complication possible, even brand new complications, yet all their 3 handers are running Selitas. It they changed that, they'd be like an avant-garde Nomos and they're be quite popular methinks.

I read that and thought, 'Hmm...YMMV...You Make Me Vomit?'

    'Whaaaaa?!?!'

Then I googled and it all made sense. Carry on.

Well they're not allowed in the high end forum, and they're certainly not low end so...yes!

That's just affordability (which is indeed subjective). Market competition and placement dictates what is high-end and what isn't, not price. To make it more clear, I would further separate the tiers into lower, mid and upper, like this:

    Lower low-tier: Seiko Skx line
    Mid low-tier: Steinhart
    Upper low-tier: Longines, Oris

    Lower mid-tier: FC, B&M
Mid mid-tier: Tudor, Tag, lower end Omega, higher end seiko divers
Upper mid-tier: Rolex, JLC, GS, Omega (who is moving up market)

This one I don't know too much about, so some placing help would be nice:

Lower high-tier: JLC probably bleeds into this.
Mid high-tier: Arnold and Son (No clue?)
Upper high-tier: PP, VC, AP, ALS, FP Journe (I really don’t know how to place these)

It's all about who competes with who.
I am amazed how quickly Zenith has disappeared off the radar.

Yeah, I completely forgot about them. I know they make great stuff (el primero chronos, for me specifically), but it just gets lost in all the noise, I guess.

I know for a fact many high net worth individuals collect vintage Rolex.
Well...there are many G-Shocks collector as well. There are many G-Shock models today went over 1K, some even 3-4K. Quartz too. How would you rank G-Shock? I kind of understand why many who want to see Rolex as a luxury but that doesn't change the fact that Rolex is rich people's tool watch. To people who can get by a $60 Timex, a $500 G-Shock seem overwhelming but that doesn't change the fact that what G-Shock really is.

Well, you guys' problem is that you don't have enough *tiers*! We had this totally solved last year: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/yet-...te-816189.html

There's a reason I didn't put brands in my tiers. I don't really want to go down that black hole.
