Best forum to learn about brands?

I want to learn about brands to become a more educated buyer and seller. Any specific forum for that?

    Thanks in advance!

Right here? A wealth of information and people much more knowledgeable than I am.

You are looking at it pal! I'm partial to another site because I started there in the 90s but the layout and ease of use kills it these days for me.

If you are talking affordables, watches under $500 or so, then you are best being in the affordables forum. But if you are talking watch brands in general, then the public forum is best.

Or vintage watches (Vintage & Pocket Watches forum), people there are amazing, with impressive knowledge, I've been learning there for years.

I've noticed that you have to go outside watchuseek to broaden your view.
That's because here you find brands that are known in USA but other market areas are not so well represented.
I've just looked the market top 20 or so brands and googled them to find other forums, of course there's a language barrier if you try to find out what for example is hot in Japan or asia in general.

Avoid the Public Forum, as you will see it heavily biased towards certain "favorites", with many other reputable brands treated with disdain-there is a pretty narrow window of observation here. Rather, simply cruise through the various brand-dedicated forums--the reviews, photo spreads and reader comments are much more focused, useful, and informative.

Use the search engine on the various sub forums of the brands you are interested in.

Definitely on this forum. Whatever watch brand intrigues you go to that particular forum and you are all set.

You registered in Dec. 2018 and already own a PAM 161 and a Omega and you now want to become a more educated buyer and seller ? Interesting.
