Best strap monster: brushed or blasted

In general, how much does the case finishing of a watch impact the suitability of the watch to different straps? Are brushed or blasted watches the best strap monsters?

I think lug shape plays a more important role.

In my opinion: brushed yes, blasted no.

It's almost impossible to find straps with a blasted buckle or a bracelet that matches that case finishing. Brushed buckles, clasps or bracelets on the other hand, no problem at all. So since I care about the hardware, blasted cases make no strap monsters.

Makes zero difference to me--if I have it on a bracelet, it would be the one that came with it (OEM), and thus, matches, and as for straps--makes no difference whatsoever what kind of case--I'll find a great strap for it--no problem at all.

I am good with this as well.

If you accidentally scratch a blasted case while changing straps, you get lasting marks you can't really correct unless you reblast the case.

    Brushed good. Blasted bad.....

I’ve found that for me brushed watches seem more accommodating.

Really does not matter to me. If I like the watch and watchcase I will find a strap that complements it nicely. And I enjoy window shopping and buying on the internet!
