    Best watch for a lawyer?

What watch would you recommend a senior lawyer to wear in the office environment? Either in a law firm or in commercial environment (working in-house)?

    Budget is £10,000/USD16,000/EUROS 12,000.

    I would say a Rolex.
It has to show financial success from previous engagements.
It has to be all steel because anything else is to ostentatious.
It has to be unimposing to wear with a suit.
No date as the date Cyclops on Rolex is outdated.

Interesting! Dates is pretty important when signing off on contracts. Any other choices?

As a lawyer, I would only shy away from Rolex. Reminds your clients who aren't into watches that they're paying you too much. If you get something else of equal or greater cost and the client recognizes it, they're more likely to be into watches and then you're scoring brownie points.

More specifically, anything on the dressier and classic side should serve you well.
