I also disagree with the idea of Breitlings as 'cheap looking'. I don't own any, but I see them all the time at work and got to play with a friends' Colt GMT and they seem nothing but solid.
Having said that for $2k I'd probably go with the Aqua Terra. It has a maritime sort of inspiration to it, which makes it nice as a casual watch, but it is conservative enough for meetings. Plus the movement is a bit different from the standard ETA types with the escapement/balance modification by Omega. It's above your target at MSRP, but I think you could get into your target zone with a good dealer -- ask around on the Omega forum for a forum recommendation.
