Best way to set up a trade between members?

I'm new here and would like to make a trade in the trading section. What is the best way to go about doing this safely . How can I trust the other person and vice versa. I don't wanna get screwed over! Thanks

You might want to hold off on trying to make a trade until you have more post and the infraction against your account isn't active anymore. Nobody is going to accept a trade unless you ship your watch first.

I myself havent done any online trades. I'm curious how this works as well. My first thought is to buy each others watch via paypal and ship, but I think there might be a better and easier way.

    Communication.

I have not made any trades but have sold quite a few and have bought some expensive ones. When the money is high I use the phone. That's the best way to connect with the other party not by a few semi vague text messages.

Thanks guys... I removed the trade post. I will repost after my infraction goes away. I got in trouble for asking if there were ways around the selling waiting period. Oops. Guess that's a no no

Buy the seller (or the trader). Know who you are dealing with and chat on the phone if possible. Typically the one proposing the trade sends his/her watch first, and allows the other party to examine and possibly re-evaluate the trade terms. Not a rule set in stone.
My only experience has been with two different dealers who were well-regarded by the watch community. I sent mine first both times, and while I had to renegotiate terms with one of the sellers I had no problems dealing with them.

Send them to me. I will relay the watches when I have both in my possession.
