Best White Dial Watch -- that can be had for < $4k???

I'm seeing a gap in my collection of a nice white dial watch. I used to have a Rolex Exp II with a white dial and loved it. Should I just try to find a used one or are there other ones out there worth considering? The only other one I have in my mind is an IWC Aquatimer. Would like to snag something between 2-4k.

    Thoughts???

    Thanks,
    -Troy

A used IWC Ingy 3239 white dial can be had for a little over $4k.

Well, the Exp II polar used would be my first choice. But I can't argue with a white dial Aquatimer, great watch.

If you like the polar white dial, you'd also like the Grand Seiko SBGX059:

The dial is extremely similar...a shiny, perfectly smooth milk white.

Now Nomos dials are not the same as the polar white dial--technically they're silver, but they look white. But they do look fantastic. And maybe one of the best watches you can get (well under your price range). Look at the whole lineup, all of their watches are available with the silver/white dial, I'll just show you one:

    That's an Orion.

For around $500, if memory serves, you can also get a SARB035:

My favorite is this Muhle Glashutte 29er Big:

$2100 SRP. Check the whole MG lineup -- lots of nice options.

I also like this Eterna Kontiki Four Hands:

This can also be had for $2100-ish.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Grand Seikos are a little too sterile for me (though I do like some of theirs with the yellow-cream dials and blue hands).

Nomos is interesting and I do like them, but I really want white, I have my JLC already which has a silver dial. I like the Omega, and have seen some Aqua Terra's that might fit the bill, but I'm thinking of getting a Aqua Terra Gauss at some point, so I'm not sure I need two Omegas.

I like the Muhle Glashutte. Oh and I forgot about the Ulysse Nardin Chronometers. Anyone have experience with those?

    Thanks,

The Jaeger is much more silver than the Nomos. The Nomos dial is white, but its atomic composition is silver mixed with other junk.

Still, it doesn't have the shiny, ice-like nature of the Rolex...it's less reflective.

I predict this could be a very cool white dial watch thread with lots of pics. Liking what I see.
