    Confused Is bi-compax ...

acceptable usage for a two-register chronograph with subdials at '3' and '9'? I know that Compax is a Universal Geneve model with subdials at "3", "6" and "9", and Tri-Compax is again a Universal Geneve model with chronograph subdials at "3", "6", "9", a full calendar and moonphase ("tri" from the 3 functions of chronograph, calendar and moonphase).

I know that many people mistakenly refer to three register layouts at "3", "6" and "9" as tri-compax, when it is really a "compax-type" layout.

It doesn't make sense to me considering that a "tri-compax" Universal actually has 4 subdials.

Or - in a more general or abstract term - two counter / two register chronograph
    Kind regards
