    A bit of rant...

I have been looking around the forums to find the right place to post this. I don't want to single out this person however I just wanted to rant a bit.

So I just sold two watches on Ebay, and I was excited to put this money towards my TZ watch school tools. However one of the bids was for an Alba AKA watch that was won by a buyer in Thailand. Two problems with that.

    1. I have it marked clearly that I DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE US.

    2. Now this is the kicker......It is the same buyer that won the auction two months ago when I first decided to sell it! I had to get ebay to cancel it, and get the buyer to agree to it(that is after 6 days went by before I received a correspondence from him/her). Then Ebay returned my auction fees.

I guess I just assumed people wouldn't bid on the same watch after they knew I wasn't going to sell it to them? Guess not. Good times. End rant..

Ok time to check and update my setting in EBay.

If you mark shipping as USA or North America only, I thought international bidders were then blocked from bidding. Is that no longer true?

Should be the case sounds like the seller didn't choose this option when listing the item for sale

Doesn't stop them from bidding. Happened to me too. But not twice. On the same watch. To the same buyer.

I don't think this is really the buyers fault. He searches, it pops up, he bids. There has to be some way to bar international buyers from bidding, you just haven't found/activated it. It wouldn't make sense otherwise and this would be happening a lot more often.
