Black + Tan. Looking for alternatives in this style...

It recently dawned on me how great this combination looks; black cased watches with tan/patina indices. Below are some examples that come to mind. I'm personally not sold on the build quality of Timex and the Sinn is out of my price range. Would love to know what else is out there preferably under $500. Thanks.

You can spec out an Undone Urban Chrono or Aqua diver in a black and tan color scheme. Both under $500

The Nezumi Baleine in available with a black case and tan/vintage lume on the hands and markers. That one retails for less than $400.

Christopher Ward has a few. Pretty much their entire "aviation" line has a version with the black and tan color scheme.
This is one of the more basic (least expensive) versions. Around $750 I think.

They also have a C60 diver with a black case and tan accents. I see this one pre-owned for under $700.

Well, I'm not into the black PVD look but I do like this Oris on the khaki strap. Black and tan make a striking combination.

Wow, I didn't even know about the Baleine models. I guess Nezumi has been making strides. Just wish they hadn't put the date window at 4:30.

420 on Amazon + custom strap ... tips in at just over 5 bills but if you like this style and want a nicely decorated hand winder, it is the ticket (be careful as there is a slightly more expensive ... by about 100 bucks ... automatic version out there that looks quite similar).

    On stock strap ...

    On my 7 1/4 inch wrist ...

    ... sorry about the band-aid :p .

Yeah, CW's aviation designs are great. Just wish they weren't so big. I've also had my eye on the vintage version of the C60 trident but not in DLC. For some reason they made the decision to polish the top of the lugs. Atleast with the regular one I can sand them myself.

Looks great on your wrist. Although I'm seeing they're 48mm...way too big for me. Wear it in good health.
