    Bob's Watches

Stumbled across their website and used their database to search a serial number on my Rolex Submariner 116610V and they had an "offer" tab. Inquisitively I hit the button and they responded with a very fair offer.

Wondering what their reputation is with any members who may have dealt with them before.

Me... Never but A Blog to Watch did a review of the Rolex Hulk and they gave Bobs a huge plug. I'd go for it.

They are legit and have been around for a while. Very large inventory and quality products is what I've heard from friends.

They are legit, but their buy pricing doesn't seem too generous to me. If you want to get top dollar from a reseller without any hassle, I'd email DavidSW.

I've been there. Ended up not getting the watch, but seemed to be pretty good sales service overall. Can't speak on the selling a watch to them 'offer' aspect

    Re: Bob's Watches

Dunno about Bob's particularly but I've heard of cases where the dealer makes you a good offer, you send them the watch for inspection, and they come back with a markedly lower offer citing condition issues, and make it troublesome for you to get the watch back if you don't want to take their new, unattractive offer (lots of people would consider this a legitimate negotiating tactic, we all know people like that). So generally speaking watch out for that - don't count your USD until it's safely locked in your bank account. Best of luck

Assuming you're trying to sell your watch, also try Bernard Watch Co. if you want any competing offers. I've dealt with Bernard before and have nothing but praise. However, when it comes to Rolex, there is no shortage of demand so you'll likely get a better deal selling it yourself since both Bob, Bernard, and DavidSW are dealers and their offers reflect it.
