Through endless eBay trawling looking for a unique vintage watch (preferably hand wound) I managed to stumble across this beautiful watch.
The item listing was very vague and smelt of someone not knowing what they were selling but nevertheless I putin a cheeky bid of £22.50
Here is the original listing and pics from the listing:
This watch was a gift in the 90's, worn couple of times, been in adrawer until a recent move. Wound it up and seems to be working fine, not sureof its accuracy.
No idea what it's background is, some paperwork and originalpackaging included in the sale, everything is written in Russian.
I've Googled it and there seem to be a few versions of this watchand mostly in pretty poor shape, this is in great condition.
The watch is in perfect condition and has its original strap which too is in perfect condition, I will probably change the strap to keep it safe and also because it has a little bit to a shoe polish smell to it.
Through some research I could only find 1 thread about the watch on WUS forums
Does anyone know anything about this watch in terms of its history and design?
