Wow, Mike...terrific review. Gotta say that’s a very cool looking watch and the idea of a 38-piece case is intriguing. Actually, I find the case absolutely fascinating; which leads me to my first question - are there any other manufacturers that produce such an elaborate/intricate case? Apologies if I missed that in the review.

Lol, my next question is a bit off-topic, but I gotta asks; how the heck do you muster the courage to set a highly-finished watch atop a rusted pile of rebar and metal? Or on a rock that looks to have a surface of microscopic, wicked little saw-blade teeth? Just seeing those shots puckered me up something fierce. Do ya’ pad/protect the watch, work really slow, not really care...or are those stock photos?

I have to admit, I don‘t know. However, from what Formex CEO said I distill that there might be some brands with similar case designs or tech specs made by Dexel (Hublot, Wyler, Graham).

I am always using small strips of transparent tape. Not running the risk of damaging my watches.
    Zeroedout and Barge like this.

For those interested in a smaller three hand Formex, be it COSC certified or not, here‘s something they might look into
