And @Helen - there's a crown (knob) at the 3 o'clock position that you pull out all the way and turn it to set the time.. it's obviously just one handed so you use the best approximation to the closest time you can.
Yeah it's a little more complicated than that.

I think it looks cool. And you got it for YOUR reasons.
Funny how the date will change as the hour hand (or minute hand I guess)
    covers it.

Some of the information in the OP provides an inadvertent commentary on the discussion recently on the matter of courtesy from a dealer.

    Just curious--which discussion is this?

Edit: Never mind, just saw it. Dealer attitude makes a huge difference to me... It's one of several factors in my spending decision. In today's market, I don't need to tolerate indifference or "light-hearted" dismissals.

I still absolutely love the Botta Uno.
    I'm wearing it right now.
The steel is showing the characteristic wear of tough metal.
It's still as precise as ever, and haven't had to reset the time since my last post, months ago.
Ironically, my job requires meeting clients regularly, and numerous meetings.
Never had a problem, and I've made it a (good) habit of being a couple minutes early for meeting.
The ambiguity of a minute or two has been very beneficial.
A vacation watch, as well as a boardroom watch.

    Hi Everyone,
I am planning to buy one, but not sure about metal strap or leather strap. Does anyone have experince with leather durability?

It's not primo, but for its price range, it's fine.

There are reviews of this watch on Amazon. One owner says that the springbars are curved. Can you confirm this? They don't LOOK that way in your photo.

They seem to have a slight curve.

Thank you for an excellent write up.

Love the description and your philosophy of time - we in the 21st century are way too worried about time - have to take a pause once in a while and witness life as it goes on (i.e. stop and smell the roses!)

    Best wishes!
