    BUCHERER Help Requested

Hey Guys, first of all, if I'm posting the wrong for him I apologize. Please let me know where to take this.

My father had this watch, and he left it to me. I can't seem to find much data on it however there seems to be some data on the manufacturer.

Can anyone help me with information on this specific model?

    Re: BUCHERER Help Requested

Moved from our German Watches Forum to Public. It clearly says Swiss Made on the dial and Bucherer is a swiss jeweller.

Some info here: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/buc...ml#post6871153. Of course there‘s more on WUS, just do a search.

Movement might belong to the Valjoux 77 familiy. A pic of the movement would be helpful.

    Re: BUCHERER Help Requested

There is more than some data on them. They are one of the oldest family owned stand alone watch companies. From the late 50's to thru the 70's they were a respectable generic sort of brand using outsourced respectable movements.

Its only been relatively recently (~ 2005) that Bucherer has moved more upscale with finely crafted cases and dials, and then the manufacture of in-house movements.

I can't say anything specific about yours, but it is a very nice one.
