Yup, Therevada (although the Dalai Lama is my hero). I try hard but we can always do better.

Do you think Buddha would spend so much on a watch? I ask because I a follower of buddha and am struggling with the purchase of a new watch. Do you think a purchase like that is a contradiction to buddha?

No, the Buddha would not, no way. Material things are part of our ego and a key part of suffering found in the Four Noble Truths. I try to live the right way and do as much good as I can, help support our Sangha and resident monk. With that said, I afford myself a few things (watches). Not the right thing probably in the Buddhist sense. But for me, doing good and generating positive good karma is important. Enough thinking out loud.
