    Bulova accutron

    Just arrived today, spent 3hrs trying to build spacer for the battery.
    Hums nicely at 300hz.

    Why would you spend 3 hours making a spacer when the 387S battery comes with a spacer for the accutron 214

    If it is humming at 300hz you have problems. ESAs hum at 300hz. Accutrons um at 360 hz!

    Actually, this watch is a Franken. Bulova did not make Spaceviews in a rectangular format. But it is nice all the same.

    Hi i am not an expert but Bulova definatley made square spaceviews. I thought it was the The 1975 Accutron "Anniversary Spaceview" (Bulova 1875/1975) .
    The numbers all match on the caseback.

    To KSET51, finding a 387s battery in Australia is impossible, I have ordered them from USA but they take 3 weeks to arrive. I couldnt wait that long

    Dont worry, being such a newbie,i figured i would be making mistakes, which is why i am buying from reputable WUS members or AD. My wife (who bought this watch) is a PHD & can research like anything.

    I can make mistakes but she NEVER!!!!

    No she is currently researching Autism, she thinks this is just boys with toys (& more money than sense (cents)
