    Bulova royal oak

    Hy,

After looking long time, and wanting one I can say, I'm proud owner of bulova royal oak.. Watch case, actually just bezel is gold plated, does anyone know from what Material is bezel, Stainless steel or base metal, because I want to remove gold plating from bezel.. Watch case and bracelet( which is too gold plated) is from Stainless steel, it seem that bezel is too, but Im not 100%, crown is from base metal .. Any advice helps

    Thanks

Because of the presence of the all SS models I would assume that your bezel is gold on steel but I’m not certain.

    Thanks,

I would try remove it with Cape Code, slowly, but I dont know would it damage it in case that base metal is underneath it.. When I look other Bulova oak's, I cant see at any signs of base metal, at any pictures online.. But on antoher hand, it was "cheap" watch, hommage.. And 70 '80' base metal was common for gold plated watch..
