    Buying and Selling With Bitcoin

    Does anyone here use Bitcoin?

What have been your experiences buying and/or selling with it here on the forums?

I'm new here and also obsessed with Bitcoin so I'm curious to hear about it. Thanks.

They were really 'bad-mouthed' around here a couple of years ago.

Just curious Sharris1940, why are you obsessed with Bitcoin? I haven't used it for anything but I'm interested in the concept of cryptocurrency, and the way it appeals to various people. Is it the potential convenience? Lower trading costs? A bigger concept of denying power to central banks?

Bitcoin has fluctuated wildly in relative value over the past few years, has proven vulnerable to hacking theft, could become completely worthless...taxed... or deemed illegal overnight, and currently has little usability in the everyday marketplace. What's not to love?

there are other crypto-currencies as well perhaps we could have an in depth discussion about those?

I have this hypothetical vision of the OP trawling the forum looking for topics that are guaranteed to start a flame war. Then joining via a proxy service of some description. Because that's what sophisticated trolls do. It doesn't hint at someone with problems. I am sure the OP is a very well rounded individual.

Then they post their carefully thought out and well crafted fire bomb. Then they sit back and enjoy the feeling of being and most importantly looking like a super smart individual. It's a pity that it means nothing in the real world.

Am I getting really cranky in my old age? Or am I just having a bad week?

The guy asked a simple question. Just pointing out that almost no one accepts bit coin would suffice. Accusations of trolling and hypothetical situations aren't really necessary.

I am not making accusations just putting a hypothetical scenario. I do have a very keen sense for trolling though. Because it's usually really obvious and I am getting sick of seeing variations of the same trolls over and over again. People just keep responding and then getting into flame wars with each other. Not that it's any of my business I guess. ;-p

I am here for the watch pictures mainly.

The bitchain encryption did not proved of much value so far. The premise of Bitcoin aficionados is wrong. The value of central banks fiat currencies is given by governments ability to collect taxes and not by blind trust as these Bitcoin apologetics would want you believe.

Re: Buying and Selling With Bitcoin

Bitcoin was discussed and beat to death a couple of years ago. The original poster should use search to read through those posts. I think it is safe to say that 99.9% of WUS members would not use bitcoin for watch deals because it is outside the supervised payment system most people use. As a consequence it has none of the regulatory safeguards that most of us take for granted.
