Can someone assist in identifying this Sekonda?

Hi guys, long time lurker and first time poster here. I picked up this Sekonda today for £5 from a charity shop because I've been after a vintage stainless digital watch and I can't find any information about this anywhere. It looks very similar to the Seiko A159-4019 from 1977 so it looks like it might be a soviet copy of that (correct me if I'm wrong here). I still need to get a battery in and find out if it actually works. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I think you should ask over at the Russian watches forum, the folks there are really well-versed in Soviet and Russian watches.

The name Sekonda obviously indicates a piece exported to Britain, and in most cases Sekondas were re-branded Raketa watches. Whether or not is it the case with this one, I don't even pretend to know.

And you may find some information on a website devoted to mostly vintage digital watches. Newdwf has several collectors and restorers who may also be able to help.
