can someone tell me about this cheap analog watch it got on ebay ?

I was looking for a classic very basic analog watch with a stretch band in silver which featured just the time and no date with a light. I can't find a timex easy reader that doesn't have the date in silver so I bought this used watch for 7 bucks on ebay

With your small photo no body could be able to say something more helpful.

You should take better photo of the dial and the movement if possible.

It's $7, just wear it until it breaks or until you tire of it.

There are lots of inexpensive watches with a brand name most people have not heard of. As a group they will keep time for decades if the battery is changed and the watch kept reasonably dry. Not much to say other than if the watch does what you want it to and the price was right then it was a good deal.

http://......./1es6Aod here is a link to the listing I don't have the watch yet to take pictures but the guy who sold it to me didn't know much about the brand and I can't find any info about it other than it's Asian made. if anyone has info.

I'm buying a gold easy reader from amazon too just odd the one with out the date which is on amazon is not listed on the timex site which leads me to believe it's an old discontinued model and the battery's are prob very old does anyone know how much it would cost to just to get new batteries installed on 5 watches?

    timex dress digital watch
casio w-59 ( I'm not gonna do it myself I'm not very handy and chances are is break it)
    casio a168
    timex easy reader
    and this aqualite

figured I may as well just get new long lasting batteries installed at once in my main watches. assuming it will be around 50 bucks for 5 watch battery changes?

Random manufacturer put that name on a watch. Mov't is probably some random japanese/chinese one, it'll run & keep good time. On par with something you'd find in a drugstore. Expansion bracelet was probably more brand new than the watch, looks like a decent value.

    thanks for the info.

I'm seeing a bunch of aqualite analog and digital watches on ebay.
but can't find a site or any info on them. I'm assuming their an asian
made brand not sold in the USA. I'm just curious how old the watch is.
I'm currently trying to hunt down a vintage mechanical watch to serve
as my main watch, the whole battery thing bothers me. I think for
7 bucks its a great deal just curious about the watch it's self...seems
a bit obscure (just in the inexpensive way).

Probably not going to find much on the brand name. It's not the same as say Seiko, Citizen, which are 2 examples of companies that design, build & market & make their own stuff. Some company built the movement n yours.
With your watch, it's a movement and a name on a dial. No pedigree, but quartz movements are cheap, robust & keep good time. As long as it wasn't & isn't abused, it'll run.
I wouldn't worry about the battery change. It'll need a change in anywhere from, say 1-5 years, depending on the movement & the watch gods. I have a TAG Heuer with a battery that lasts 5+ years, & a Citizen that lasts less than 2.
Yours probably has a pry up, snap on case back. It probably looks flat on the back with maybe a notch near the edge of the case back. Screw down case backs will have usually 6 notches prominently cut into the case back & are on more expensive watches.
Just post a pic of the case back & tell you how to open it, offer advice & tips (I prefer a small screw driver VS a watch knife, & make sure it doesn't slip)
As for old mechanicals, you might get something cheap because it needs a service that will cost more money.

    thanks for the help :)
I found a local place who does battery changes for 5 bucks flat so
I have a place to go now to get my batteries changed (which like you said
prob won't be for a few years anyway). Once I get the watch i'll post some better photos.
Yea i assume its some obscure brand, just odd that this company has no info must have been
really cheap maybe it was brand made for a certain cheap department store thats now closed?
i see a store online called academy which is the only place i see selling this brand watch but their all
digital not analog. Also I think i hunted down a 1970's waltham gold mechanical watch that looks nice
and reasonable price, in working shape and nothing wrong with it as they say, looks like i'm getting it.
I know waltham is the watch brand used on dexter (one of my favorite shows) so whats not to love.

Re: can someone tell me about this cheap analog watch it got on ebay ?

well the watch came today and I'm very disappointed. the watch is in perfect shape and works perfectly but the band is HUGE. it's a stretch band so I assumed it would be small and expand to fit snug like my timex. how much would it be to buy a replacement band like the one from timex the standard band they come with? I'm afaid the two waltham I got off ebay will have the same issue. also how do I replace a band I'm thinking of maybe a cloth black one as I don't do leather if I can't get an expansion band?
