Cartier Diver vs Tudor BB 58

Iím looking for a black dialed, thin, dressy diver that doesnít shatter the budget in the 5k+ range or less.

The Cartier is pricier and Iím not sure about the blue jewel on the crown. Also Iíve read some complaints about rotor noise.

The Tudor 58 has no date and I usually donít go the gold/gilt route.

What do you think - Cartier Calibre Diver or Tudor Black Bay 58?

Another one for the Tudor, what kind of dive watch has a cabochon ?

Nothing against Cartier, they are amazing. But a cabochon on a dive watch....really?

Agree, but to play devil's advocate, how many actually take their several thousand dollar watch diving?

Having said that I vote Tudor!

Two different beats to the extent that a Santos I'd see as a harder pick.

I'd definitely go with the Tudor. If I were going to pick up a Cartier, it would be the Santos, not one of their divers.

All things being equal, then I'd buy the Cartier because it's just a much more interesting watch. Just my opinion... this Tudor does nothing to excite me. Sorry.

Between the two I prefer the Tudor.
