    Cartier? What about this?

I found this. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

I used a highpass filter for the pictures.

The case design is called "Pasha" and is a Cartier classic.

It's a man's watch, yes. Cartier is a pretty high end manufacturer. And I have no idea if it's a counterfeit or not.

That watch is a classic, and also faked a lot.

Take it to your nearest watch dealer to confirm its authenticity. If it is the real Mckoy consider yourself very lucky indeed...

This one isn't kosher to me, me thinks it's a fake.

Cartiers are heavily copied, some being of such high quality, with the correct dimensions and weight, Swiss-made stainless steel cases and Japanese automatic movements, that they could easily be taken for a genuine article in jewelry stores. This watch would appear at first blush to be a replica Pasha C, as certain key external design features are incorrect.
Most basic is that this model only comes with Arabic, not Roman, numerals and that the date number should parallel the rim rather than remain vertical. Features you can evaluate are (1) the crown sapphire should have faceted edges and be a deep, rather than light, blue color without a 'glassy' appearance (2) this model has an automatic movement so the ticking second hand of a quartz movement is a giveaway (3) Cartier chemicaly blues the steel hands, which can change from blue to black in different light, whereas counterfeit hands are usually painted an 'electric blue' enamel (4) lastly, open the case and check for a fairly detailed cal. 049 movement with 'Cartier' etched, perhaps in gold, rather than a decal. Good luck.
