    Case-back design

I have read in several posts that some writers are totally uninterested in the design on the watch case-back. That got me thinking (always a bad thing). I would buy a watch that is otherwise unremarkable if it had a memorable case-back design or engraving. To me, the caseback is an intergal part of the watch design. One statement was made that others couldn't see the caseback so it was unimportant. I wear my watches for my pleasure and enjoyment, not for others entertainment. It strikes me similar to engraving on the inside of a ring. I know it's there and really don't care if others do or not. What is your opinion?

Watches are like women - a nice backside can be quite pleasing.

I personally like the case backs of Zodiac watches.
