    Certina/Revue Thommen Watches

I haven't found any forum that addresses customers/fans of the above watches. Perhaps they are mentioned, buried in some thread somewhere?

I happen to like the quality of Certina and Revue Thommen. Hope one day that they get their own forums. Does anyone here own/admire these brands?

You may use our search function to find out Both, Certina and RT, have been discussed here on several fora, esp. Certina DS and dive watches on our DWF. Give it at try.

    Re: Certina/Revue Thommen Watches

    Hello Ricardo,

I have a DS Podium Automatic with the Silver "SunBeam" Face, ref. 633.7129.42.16.

Unfortunately I don't own any vintage ones but I find this particular model fascinating. The sunbeam face almost makes it look very classic, though it is a very shiny silver. The bracelet is nice, kind of like a racing type but a bit more refined. It is definitely a "racing" themed watch but at first glance it could be mistaken for a dress watch. The logos are all "etched/engraved" into the steel and it seems like a lot of work went into this time piece...

If I'm not mistaken Certina is trying to re-build their brand image. I e-mailed them a couple of months ago and got a very friendly reply the very next day.

    Regards
    Glimmer

Would love to see your models.
