    Cheapest Watch Prices Ever

That grabbed your attention didn't it? Sorry!

Does anyone know which country has the cheapest watch prices? This is the manufacturers recommended retail prices, not a negotiated price.

Reason for asking is that it appears to me that here in the UK we are paying more than many other countries. Am I correct?

Sure but for brand name watches, China is insanely expensive.. I was in Beijing last year and prices were 20-30% higher than here at home. Most shockingly, Chinese Sea-Gull watches I found were 50-100% more than in Hong Kong, which was hard to understand.

I've had good success purchasing watches in Hong Kong, there is no duty and no sales tax. Also seen great prices in Amsterdam. And I've heard good things about Singapore and some countries in the Caribbean like St. Martin

    Kindest Regards,

When it comes to watch buying, that site scares me. Don't think I want to buy a watch where I can get 12 cases of cat food at discount prices.

    Thanks for the info.

What I'm really after is an understanding if where the UK fits price wise.
Say for buying Mid price luxury brands such as Breitling, Omega and the like.
Is the US around 20% cheaper than UK for example?
EU countries are possibly about the same as UK

Not looking to necessarily source from these places but wonder if and why the UK is more expensive.

    Thanks.

For me ive always found USD and CHF prices to be far cheaper than here in australia. If i was going to by a watch costing more than 10k, a flight to zurich is paid for and then some in the savings, and i get to visit some friends too. No dealer in aus will be getting my money.

Yes I agree China probably has the cheapest watch prices but be careful because a lot of non genuine merchandise gets purchased from there, I'm just saying! I know if you look in the country the watch was made in you will probably be able to order it from there the cheapest but I'm not really sure.

I would say China ... and 'on the streets'

as for China selling their Sea-Gulls at a higher price, status, supply and demand ... and import taxes

alibaba ... you can get much more than a watch and food for your cats
