    Choices?

Yesterday I was having a chat with my buddy on our recent watch infatuations.
Upon hearing that I am infatuated with the Longines Pulsometer and Tag Heurer Monaco, he made a bet with me that most people would pick the Monaco rather than the pulsometer as it has a better resale value.

What are your thoughts with regards to what he said?
    Is it true for you?

    Happy new year!

No idea what's true for most, but I love the Longines until I get to those lugs. Then it's dead to me.

    Monaco wins.

Yeah, if it wasn't for the funny lugs it would be a walkover for the Longines so it's Longines - 0 Monaco - 1

Not much of a contest, Longines.

Longines don't like square watches but the Monaco is a iconic watch

I'd pick the Monaco in a heartbeat, but there are a few Tag haters on this forum, so I expect it to be an even contest :)

Monaco easy. And it has nothing to do with resale value. History, looks, lugs, versatility - just a better watch in my view

I prefer this Longines pulse meter and asthometer.

But I'd take that new Monaco remake over all of these.

Agreed. These would be my thoughts... I sure like that Longines is using column wheel movements in some of their chronographs...
