    "Christmas" Connie

Forgive my whimsy. I received this Constellation (case #166017, cal 564) some time back. When I received it it had bizarre cathedral hands and the red seconds. (I think the previous owner was vision impaired).
It also came with the garish green strap.
I located what I believe are the correct hour/minute hands as well as a correct seconds. After debating with self I decided to reinstall the red seconds with the new hour/minute hands.
I intend to wear it over the Xmas holiday season on occasion.

Wow I like it. It's different, Personally I'd wear it at any formal occasion. 3 Q's if I might?
    What's it's history?
    What year was it made?
    How's it run?

They are the correct hands for a late 60's caliber 561 "C" case. Nice watches, and only starting to gain in value. For reference, here's a caliber 751 I sold last year:

I gotta say I like that color combo - different, but a good holiday watch for sure.

It belonged to an elderly friend (widow), her husbands I believe.
    Dates to '68.
It gains 5-6 seconds in 24 hrs. Not bad for a 40+ yr. old watch.

    That's a special watch. I bet it's got a great history.
