Chrono24 question: "seller has not disclosed any details"

Hi there to all you guys that have more experience than I do with chrono24.

I have noticed that on chrono24, alot of private sellers do not disclose any of their details.

is there a reason for this and what should I be aware of?

i am asking because I am in the middle of a first time purchase, although rapport is good with the seller, I thought I would get the advice of others.
Thanks to everyone contributing on this.

    Joey.

it is simply done for privacy reasons. As long as the seller offers the escrow service you are protected. I have bought and sold a number of expensive watches there and never publish my name

I buy and sell most of my watches by Chrono24, and I dont disclose my info for privacy and security reasons. Basically, you dont want to show your name, address and watches on sale to the public.

If you ask for an offer, all the contact info is there, and as long as you use the trusted checkout option with the escrow account, transaction is safe.

Lots of times someone will try to contact the seller for a better by deal cutting out the middleman. In this case the middle man is Chrono24.

It's like seeing a car on a used car lot, looking at the registration, then contacting the owner and making him an offer instead of the used car lot.

chrono 24 is legit, just double check ratings. sometimes you can find forums about specific sellers in WUS.
