    Citizen Grand Classic...finally it's mine!

I have been waiting and waiting for this to go on sale at the Black Friday price of 378, but now I found it for 338 with Macy's VIP sale which is still going on right now by the way you can also get the silver version with the blue hands for 298, and you can also get an open heart model with gold case and brown dial for 375, a different watch altogether really but the same line.

Congrats on your new pickup. My first real watch that I got as an adult is a Citizen Skyhawk some 10 years ago, which is still in my rotation. It was my only watch until the mania took hold around 2014

Congratulations. The Citizen Grand Classic's blue dial sets this watch apart.

This model is a terrific watch. Basically a Japanese aqua terra with only a few corners cut. I saw the price that Macy’s has, and it’s a steal. Congrats.

Sadly, it appears that the citizen signature collection has been discontinued. On the bright side, it also appears that citizen is stepping up their normal range with features only previously seen in the signature collection. (I.e. coated sapphire crystals, higher end finishing, etc). But it also probably means they are going to focus solely on eco drive.

Indeed it is and the piece of crap running the site shamelessly stole all my pictures in their review. When I emailed them about it, I was ignored. So there's that. Here is my five year old thread where they took their pictures and my video from: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f21/my...h-1077939.html
